Farmhouse

Alessandra tells us the story of this place

The agricamping Oasi del Belvivere is situated within a plot of approximately 2 hectares.

About 10 years ago, I purchased this agricultural land that had been abandoned for over 50 years. It was an inextricable jungle of brambles and acacia trees.

With painstaking patience, I cleared this uncultivated space of weeds and joyfully witnessed the progressive rebirth of native plants such as hazel, chestnut, laurel, heather, ferns, and broom, as well as an extraordinary variety of flowers.

Today, that neglected field has become a sort of natural botanical garden, where most of the plants typical of this area and the Mediterranean scrub can be admired.

A part of this land has been dedicated to the creation of a farm: today there are about 200 fruit trees here—figs, pears, apples, peaches, apricots, plums, and persimmons—offering a tasty production of fruit for most of the year.

The Orchard

There are approximately 200 fruit trees. Camping guests are free to pick the fruit, treating themselves to the age-old pleasure of tasting fruit directly from the tree.

The Vegetable Garden

Another significant portion of the land is occupied by a lush artichoke field and the seasonal vegetable garden, which is also generous with produce available to guests. With particular care, we grow typical Ligurian herbs, such as borage.

The Aromatic Herb Garden

The pride and joy of this small farm is the aromatic herb garden—a small masterpiece of green architecture and the true symbol of Belvivere.
